Job Descriptions:

• Develop and implement test strategies, test plans, and test cases for data validation, ETL processes, and data pipelines.
• Execute SIT, UAT, PVT, and performance testing for data-related projects.
• Identify, track, and escalate test defects and issues to ensure timely resolution.
• Re-test repaired defects and validate fixes.
• Prepare Test Summary Reports after meeting exit criteria.
• Work with Business Analysts & Data Engineering to understand business process, data flow and system integration requirement.
• Develop and validate complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and data transformations.
• Ensure compliance with SDLC and QA best practices in data testing.
• Lead and mentor QA team members in testing methodologies and automation best practices.

Qualifications:

• Minimum age: 35 years.
• Bachelor’s /Master’s degree in computer sciences, software engineering or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in QA testing, with 2+ years as a Test Lead.    
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.    
• Extensive knowledge of Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) solutions, ETL, SQL, and RDBMS technologies.    
• Strong knowledge of testing concepts and testing techniques.    
• Full practitioner of SDLC and other relevant system development management processes.    
• Hands-on experience with Enterprise Data Warehouses (Teradata, Oracle, Cloudera, etc.)    
• Strong knowledge of SQL Statement, Store Procedure, Query and Oracle PL/SQL, Shell Script, Hive.    
• Deep understanding of testing concepts, techniques, and automation frameworks.    
• Familiar with testing framework and ISTQB or similar certification in software testing is a plus.
