Account Executive (Exotic Quixotic Content team)

EQ is recruiting an ambitious and well-rounded Account Executive (AE) responsible for helping with client growth and commercial opportunities.  The Account Executive will assist in generating revenues through sales of our existing portfolio of products and services, as well as develop strategies for approaching clients for various EQ initiatives. This individual will work closely with EQ’s internal teams to build proposals that address a client’s needs and objectives, as well as explore additional products or services to brand partners that leverage EQ’s core competencies.  This position will be highly client-facing (so a passion for dealing with people is a must) and requires an organized and creative mindset to develop solutions for our brand partners.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • As Account Executive, be an important part of the business development team and be responsible for managing revenue-generating initiatives (whether organic or inorganic)
  • Cultivate strong relationships with new clients, while maintaining existing client relationships.
  • Communicate with clients and gather information about a project’s scope, budget and timelines, and then negotiate terms and conditions to secure the opportunity
  • Be key liaison for all client projects, as well as coordinate, motivate, and follow up with team members in a timely and professional manner
  • Develop client-facing budgets for projects based on proposed ideas, and monitor said budgets throughout the project
  • Qualify inbound leads and prospects through email or phone calls
  • Be comfortable with making cold calls to prospective clients, and delivering a strong introduction of the EQ brand and concept as a segue to possible partnerships
  • Put together strong, captivating proposals and decks for client presentations based on creative ideas and proposal objectives
  • Develop a comprehensive overview of the audience, the local market, and client landscapes, including understanding passion points, trends, topline brand focus and other key statistics
  • Collaborate with key decision makers to identify opportunities and develop ideas that deliver sales results
  • Compile reports tracking a variety of BD-related metrics, including client contacts, commercial opportunities, co-branded opportunities, closed sales, lost pitches,
  • Manage multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines based on aligned timelines
  • Performs other duties as required to build the business
  • Perform all necessary duties in both English and Thai

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1-3 years experience in a sales or business development role
  • Fearless and persistent personality; won’t take no for an answer
  • A creative mindset that can think big picture and also execute on little things
  • Existing rolodex of client/brand contacts a plus
  • Excellent organizational skills, time management, and attention to detail
  • Impactful presentation skills and charisma in leading conversations and dealing with people
  • An ability to motivate colleagues thru trust, teamwork and support
  • A passion for culture and creativity
  • Good command of Microsoft Office or MacOS, with a particular proficiency in excel/numbers and powerpoint/keynote
  • Native fluency in Thai and a strong command of English
