RESPONSIBILITIES
• Spearhead all marketing and communications initiatives for the EQ brand and platform sub-channels to focus on a) increasing reach to more individuals, especially those upcountry, b) deepen engagement for all audience, and c) establish brand reputation as a pioneer supporting culture and creativity
• Develop strategies and tactics to boost company’s reputation and increase qualified traffic to specific channels
• Create marketing campaigns from ideation to execution and ensure successful completion and specific metrics are achieved
• Oversee and approve marketing materials across all platforms with regards to branding, advertising and other promotional initiatives
• Experiment with organic and paid growth activities like lead generation, content creation, content curation, event management, publicity, social media, and performance analysis
• Coordinate marketing strategies with internal departments (BD, editorial, production) and external parties
• Work with colleagues to produce engaging content for the website and social outlets that attracts and converts our target demographic into long-time, loyal followers
• Generate new business leads and coordinate with the BD team to offer suggestions that can lead to commercial offerings suitable for client partners
• Measure and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, gain insight and assess against goals to optimize all marketing and pricing strategies
• Perform market research and analyze social media trends to pinpoint observed patterns of behavior and other insights necessary to build creative campaigns
• Prepare and track marketing budget (quarterly and annually) and allocate funds accordingly
• Recruit and manage headcount across subteams of the Marketing department as needed
QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
• 5-8 years’ experience working in Marketing, Digital Marketing/Social Media, Communications/PR, or related industries. Experience in culture or content production a plus
• Proven experience in identifying target audiences and in creatively devising and leading across channels marketing campaigns that engage, educate and motivate
• Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends)
• Experience in setting up and optimizing Google Adwords campaigns
• Eloquent wordsmith with a sense of style and a penchant for witty copy and communication
• An understanding of local culture and how to connect and engage with the young adult demographic through storytelling and other methods
• Able to work independently with skilled time management capabilities and attention to detail
• An uncanny ability to be charismatic with various individual personalities and across situations
• Very comfortable with numbers, math and financial analyses
• Stay abreast of the latest trends and best practices in offline and online marketing and tracking
• Work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment, and adapt quickly to meet deadlines
• Native Thai language skills and a strong command of the English language as well.
