The Assistant Manager – People Business Partner acts as a strategic HR partner to assigned business units, supporting leaders and employees to align people initiatives with business goals. This role delivers HR solutions through strong collaboration, data-driven insights, and an understanding of team dynamics, while building a positive employee experience and culture.
Partner with line managers to provide day-to-day HR guidance and support on people-related matters.
Monitor and analyze HR metrics to identify trends, provide insights, and propose proactive solutions
Support employee relations by conducting preliminary investigations, managing conflict, and facilitating resolutionin a fair and objective manner.
Drive key HR processes such as performance management, employee engagement, and career development.
Assist in workforce planning, succession planning, and organizational development initiatives.
Collaborate with HR CoEs (e.g. Talent Acquisition, L&D) to deliver integrated HR solutions.
Ensure adherence to HR policies and labor law requirements.
Coordinate internal communication regarding HR initiatives within assigned units
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in HR, with at least 2 years in a business partner or HR generalist role.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
Sound knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.
Analytical mindset and ability to work with HR data and KPIs.
Experience in a dynamic or fast-paced environment; background in tech, aviation, or engineering is a plus
